Seminole currently markets gas to customers on Iowa's largest natural gas utility, MidAmerican Energy. Recent tariff changes in the state have lowered the volume requirements for third-party gas purchasing, and now this benefit is available for many smaller facilities and businesses. Seminole works closely with customers to determine the most economical options for each facility, regardless of size. We offer a variety of pricing options and have a history of excellent service and reliable delivery.

Customer Eligibility Requirements:
All commercial/residential customers of MidAmerican Energy that meet the minimum transportation thresholds are eligible.

Minimum transportation thresholds by utility/pipe:
MidAmerican Energy: 3,000 dth/year
Alliant Energy:  1,500 MMbtu
Black Hills Energy:  5,000 MMbtu
