By law utilities are not allowed to profit from the sale of the natural gas commodity. Due to strict regulatory policies and procedures, utilities are required to purchase natural gas at specific times and in specific ways which do not always equate to best pricing. By contrast, Seminole Energy has relationships with numerous gas producers, allowing us to use best practices for gas purchases. We utilitze a number of pricing methodologies to ensure competative pricing to our customers, providing a typical savings of 15-25% when compared with local utilities.

These are the fees the utilities charge to get your gas down the pipleine to you. They are typically based on your volume of use. These charges are currently on your bill, and most utilities will continue to charge the fees once you make the switch to third-party. The fees may be billed through Seminole, or the utility may bill you directly depending upon their internal practices. The fees do not increase or decrease by using a third-party, since they are based on volume.
